VOL 7 ISSUE 3 | March 2004 |
What
would March be without a festive green beer from an Irish pub on St. Patrick's
Day? Answer: Not near as much fun as a March with one! This
year St. Patty's Day found me living large at Maloney's
on Campus with three bodypainted promotional models from AZ
Models. Obviously the painting themes were centered around lucky
shamrock clovers and a rainbow that culminated in a pot of gold. To see
the pictures go to http://www.futureclassx.com/bodypaint/brielle/stpatricks/stpatricks.htm
.
It was an honor to donate my services to this non-profit organization whose goal
is to take-in abandoned horses and care for them until they are hopefully
adopted eventually. The event was held at their ranch in Gilbert, Arizona
and included live music, art & photography gallery pieces, wine & houre
dourves, and of course, live bodypainting. Several weeks before the live
show I set up a session to do a promotional poster for the event and I was
thrilled to work with models Brooke
Black, Shanelle Steele, and Heather
Keckler (as well as photographer O'D).
Shanelle was gracious enough to also provide her services as a bodypainting canvas for the actual event, in addition to one of my "most-painted" models, Kay Kochman, and newcomer Phoebe. For the rest of the story and more pictures, go to http://www.futureclassx.com/bodypaint/shanelle/horse/wildhorse.htm .
The Janet Jackson lifecast/bodypainting has found a new home. Ed
McCormick of www.artmolds.com has
purchased the piece and now has it on display at http://www.artmolds.com/ArtMolds_collection.cfm
as part of the Artmolds Collection. Artmolds will be showcasing their
supplies and products related to the artform of lifecasting at the upcoming
International Make-Up Artist Trade Show in Pasadena, California this June.
For more information about the event go to http://www.makeupartistshow.com/
. I hope to attend and do some live demonstrations in the artmolds
booth. See you there...

I finally got to see the London Bridge. It's not falling down at
all. It's safe and sound out here in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. Here
is a picture I took of it at night.
