It's been five years since I collaborated with a few friends to make my short film debut with a 7 minute project called "Second Chances". I wrote the horror/drama script and co-directed it with the very talented Webb Pickersgill. Webb had been involved in several Star Wars fan films when I met him on the set of the Villikon Chronicles. We did all of the filming in one long night and Webb was a one-man-army by doing the producing, cinematography, camera operator, lighting designer, and several other titles that I've never even heard of. For the actors, I was able to gather three friends: Shane Stevens (also from the Villikon Chronicles), Kevin O'Connor (Arizona 501st and armor builder for Villikon), and Kayla Rei (model for several bodypainting projects).

This February I was once again asked to be a part of the festivities for the annual Exotic Art Show opening night extravaganza at the Alwun House. The Show is orchestrated by Kim Moody and Dana Johnson who have been instrumental in keeping the art world alive and kicking in downtown Phoenix. Each year I have taken my perch on the floor of the lower level and created a diverse array of bodypainting pieces. This year I painted volunteer "canvases" from the sold out audience and completed 6 mini projects that were all unplanned and off-the-cuff concepts.
