Maloney's On Campus
St. Patrick's Day Bash

Tempe, Arizona - Saturday, March 17th, 2007

The green beer was a' flowing again at the annual St. Patrick's Day bash at Maloney's on Campus in Tempe, Arizona.  Each year Maloney's sets up a huge circus tent for the festivities. The entertainment includes live music, mechanical bull riding, and a seemingly endless supply of alcohol for the lads and lasses.  I had painted several models for the bash back in 2004 (see my webpage at http://www.futureclassx.com/bodypaint/brielle/stpatricks/stpatricks.htm. This year I was contacted by Event Pro, the promotional company that was orchestrating the event.

The models were painted at Event Pro's office which was only a couple of blocks from Maloney's. The first model that I painted was Ashley Crisci who I had previously painted for a Heineken event in Scottsdale. All of the other models that Event Pro hired were new aquaintences for me. The vests were painted on using some Reel Creations airbrush paint and then hand paints from Wolfe Brothers and Ben-Nye body paints. The glitter was applied by first painting on a coat of spirit gum and then pouring the glitter over it while it was still wet.

Then it was off to Maloney's for the main event.  It was wall to wall people and they were all donning their best green outfits.  By the time I arrived, my bodypainted models had become barmaids serving the masses.  It was great watching people's reactions once they realized that the girls were "topless" and it appeared that the girls were having a good time playing it up!
