The CD is not available on the new website yet, but we are currently working on setting that up also. For now it is free to download the songs Simple Life, Say What's On Your Mind, The Letter, and Company Time. Dawna gets credit everytime you download or listen to her songs so go listen often!
Yes, there is a new face that graces the pages of Southwest Models' portfolio section. Her name is Rachel and she's from Chandler, Arizona. She was wonderful to work with and very natural at getting the right look. Most of the pictures we shot were swimsuit layouts by a beautiful Arizona swimming pool. The shoot consisted of about 4 hours and 4 rolls on Father's Day and Rachel was enthusiastic during the whole session...Thanks Rachel.
I've entered Southwest Models into a competition of Top Modeling sites and last month I reached number 81. At one point the site peaked at number 47, but didn't last there. If you would like to visit the list and find Southwest Models, click here. By going there, you are casting a vote for Southwest Models also...So thank you in advance for helping me out.
Don't forget, there's a lot of cool stuff to buy at Southwest Models by clicking on the link to the Model Store. My wife bought one of the "Tan-Through" bathing suits and she is very happy with it. You can also buy any book from Amazon.com from the site. The latest news is that Southwest Models is now proud to be an authorized affiliate of The Playboy Store. Check it out!
-A huge thanks goes out to my kids and my wife for making Father's Day such a huge success. They bought me a new wide angle lens for my camera and also a heavy duty tripod. For you fellow photographers out there, the lens is an 18-35mm and lets me take wider expanses on landscape photography like I've never imagined possible. I truly feel like the luckiest man alive to have a family that is behind me in my interests and hobbies...as trivial as they may seem sometimes. Thanks guys, I love you.
-A couple of new web pages that I am working on include one with pictures that I have taken at Papago Park which is located between Phoenix, Tempe, and Scottsdale near the Phoenix Zoo. The address is members.home.net/classx/papago.htm and I am planning on making this the start of an on-line portfolio of pictures of Arizona with accompanying written background. Another page that I have started is for www.electrictattoo.com and is for a new project for my friend Ed Clapper. I'll have more on that site in the future. And lastly, you can go check out the photography section of Future-Class X Publishing and see the new look. I have gotten rid of the frames and added a link to the Southwest Models site and added a new "Publicity Photography" section.
-The winner of this months drawing for the Mills Barn limited edition art print is Bill Vincent from Nashville, Tennessee. Bill was the mastermind and keyboardist for the Styx tribute band project called Styx Jam99. The band went on to do an additional show under the name of Equinox. Video samples and pictures from this show are still on-line at http://www.styxnet.com/equinox/. There is a version of Suite Madame Blue on there with "yours truly" on vocals. Anyway, enough of the self-promotion. Congratulations Bill! I hope you enjoy the print. If anyone would like a chance at winning a print all you have to do is sign the guestbook and you will be in the next month's drawing.
Type at you next month!!!
