Spent some family time in Las Vegas with my wife, my mom, my brother, my sister-in-law, and my cousin (Lori, Irma, Curt, Jean, and Jinny respectively). One of the highlights of this trip was going to the new Sphere Experience at the Venetian. The exterior is a marvel of engineering and state-of-the-art lighting and as incredible as the exterior is, the inside will blow you away. We watched a film directed by Darren Aronofsky called 'A Postcard From Earth' and it was immersive and awe-inspiring...it literally brought mom to tears and parts scared Lori till she had sweaty palms. I won't give any spoilers, but I highly recommend checking out this new addition to the Las Vegas skyline.
I had the off chance to visit another iconic piece of art while I was in Chicago. This big silver bean is called Cloud Gate and while I was there I decided to do some iPhone videography of it and a few clips of me singing my song 'Come Inside'. Of course, while I was there I also had my first authentic Chicago hot dog and added to my states where I drank a locally brewed beer...living it up, in other words. Anyway, once I was back in Phoenix, it was time to record some performance video to complete the music video for the song. In keeping with the mirror reflection theme, I decorated my studio set with the roll of mirror vinyl that I had purchased for the Bodypainting Extravaganza at Phoenix Fan Fusion and the ceiling fan kept it dynamically fluttering. One more silver element was playing my new silver burst Fender Strat guitar. Click the image above or go to https://youtu.be/FP4XicO6ZMg?si=svPEd1bO316ax4M_ to see video on YouTube. I goes without saying that I'd love you to like, subscribe, and hit the notification bell while your there. I'm hoping to get up to 500 subscribers in 2024!
In December, my first baby boy turned 30 years old. We recently recreated this photo of us drinking together. I can't believe we still had that blanket in the closet! I have a little less hair, he has a little more and he's moved on from milk from a baby bottle to Kiltlifter. Sage and Savannah have three little boys that call me Pop Pops. He just started a new job with the Maricopa Association of Governments (MAG) and it's been a great ride watching him grow into his own. Happy Birthday Sage!
My gift to you is my music. Please kindly accept by going to these fine streaming services to download and stream! I hope you like some and consider them for your favorite playlists!
