c2000 Painting and photo by Mark Greenawalt

Welcome to the "Dueling Snakes" bodypainting webpage.  This body painting was painted live in front of a packed house during the Alfadon Fetish and Masquerade Ball in October 2000.  The event was also known as the Carnal Manifest and was held at a club called Pompeii in Tempe, Arizona.  The models name is Angie and she was selected by Alfadon to pose for me.  This body painting took approximately two hours to reach the point of "completion", however, I had to end this painting a little prematurely and didn't quite get to touch up all of the details that I had planned.

This design includes a red snake and a purple snake that wrap around the model starting just below the back of the knee and winding up and around till they reach the model's breasts with their fangs flaring.  This project was completed by sponging on liquid latex for the red and purple, followed by brushed on black using a special type of face paint.  This painting was written about in the winter issue of Night Moves Magazine and the article is reprinted below.

If you are interested in ordering a print from this photoshoot or would like additional information on bodypainting, please feel free to contact mark@futureclassx.com and visit my website at www.futureclassx.com .  Please browse through the additional images from the Pinnacle Peak bodypainting session below.  Thanks for visiting!

Here is the article from the Winter 2000 edition of Night Moves Magazine.  The text is reprinted below for clarity.  The photographs in this magazine article were taken by Shawn Reimers and you can visit his website at www.shawnreimers.com .

We had a chance to attend the Alfadon Fetish and Masquerade Ball in October and happened upon Bodypainter Mark Greenawalt engrossed in his work of painting a nearly nude model with liquid latex paint (tough job, but somebody's got to do it). Before our eyes the painted image took the shape of dueling snakes wrapping their way up the models legs and ending up with their fangs wide open over her pierced nipples.

Greenawalt's work features several painting techniques including air brushed body paints and sponged liquid latex paints. To see more of his painted bodies check out his website at www.futureclassx.com. Mark is an award winning artist who is available for a reasonable fee to perform live body paintings at publicized events or for private or commercial photoshoots.

A definite must see in the valley!
