2019's theme for the Phoenix Fan Fusion Bodypainting Extravaganza (PFFBE) was "Steampunk de los Muertos". Five wonderful models painted by five fantastic artists. Artist Brandon McGill paired up with our only male model, Best Tardy. This was Brandon's third Extravaganza (2016 - "Tales Retold" and 2017 - "Androids"). This was Best's first PFFBE. Artist Papi Miranda has been involved in every bodypainting extravaganza (2014 - "Goddesses", 2015 - "Aliens", 2016 - "Tales Retold", 2017 - "Androids", and the ill-fated 2018 - "Monochrome"). This time Papi's model was Violet Pixie who he has worked with on multiple projects, but this will be her first PFFBE. Artist Brandy Wise painted model Elley Cat and this was thier first time at PFFBPE. Artist Amber Yepez painted model Griffin Maria. This was Amber's first PFFBE, but Griffin was there last year for the "Monochrome" project, but we didn't have the opportunity to finish before the fire alarms sounded and brought our session to an end. Artist Mark Greenawalt (Me) will be worked with Paris Harshman. Paris and I have collaborated on quite a few projects including Phoenix Comicon 2009 - "Maleficent", 2010 - "Arachne", and the 2012 - "Isis". By the way, I've been doing these bodypainting panels at Phoenix Comicon / Fan Fusion since 2008. Miss Krystle on the runway with the bodypainted models.
