The Mittens of Monument Valley at Sunset

These two rock formations at Monument Valley always made me think of Road Runner and Coyote cartoons. It’s a bit humorous that they’ve been dubbed ‘Mittens’, but it doesn’t take away from the grandeur that they emote. Seeing them in photos pales in comparison to how majestic they are in person. I did get a great opportunity to see them as the sunset painted them in the rich vibrant oranges while leaving the sky in many shades of blue and purple. Beautiful.
