General Sherman's Perspective

The General Sherman tree is the largest tree by volume in the world. I took the opportunity to meet him in person at the Sequoia National Park in California. Wow, the size is just incredible. The Sequoia trees are absolutely majestic and although this photo may just look like normal sized pine tees, the top of this one is 275′. I call this one General Sherman’s Perspective because there was no way to photograph these trees and keep the perspective vertical without shooting from far, far away (or possibly some incredible tilt-shift lens).
