Haceta Head Lighthouse in Oregon

Haceta Head Lighthouse is in the central region of the Oregon Coast. I first hiked the trail from the beach below up to the lighthouse and then ventured off to this distant vantage point. The light was shining and it’s said that it is the strongest light on the Oregon Coast and can be seen for 24 miles. It is 56′ tall and was built in 1894.
