Multnomah Falls Oregon

There was a light rain when I arrived at Multnomah Falls. The rain brought a vibrance to the foliage and a richness to the colors of the stone. The initial challenge was to keep my camera under my rain poncho to dry off between quick bursts till the drops distorted the lens. I had less than a hour there before I had to be on plane at the nearby Portland Airport, but eventually the Oregon skies cooperated and the rain ceased for my last moments there. I captured as much as I could and even took the short hike to cross the bridge between the two tiers of the waterfall. It was a memorable experience and I’m thrilled to share this image that captured the moment.
